Black Tides Draga's Wake Trailer Shows Cosmic Horror Aboard A 1900s Steamship
Strange Creature Factory Ltd. released the official trailer for Black Tides Draga's Wake, an in-development horror game set aboard the giant steamship Olmora. The trailer arrived on October 2 and, as of the time of writing, has passed 150,000 views, per Denfaminicogamer. The setup: the plunder of pirate and smuggler Draga and his crew ends in disaster. Ice traps the ship in unpredictable waters, an ancient god possesses the crew, and the members turn into monstrous forms that roam the vessel. Players control Draga, described as battle-hardened and the first mate of a pirate ship, who searches the decaying interior for missing crewmates and fights with limited ammunition and blades. Draga can also surrender to the alien power in his own body and mutate into a Host Form, and absorbing survivors shapes his skill tree and physical mutations. Release is planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, with Japanese language support listed.
