Paramount Skydance Closes Warner Bros. Discovery Deal
Paramount Skydance completed its acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, forming Skydance Corporation with the assets of both companies. David Ellison is CEO. HBO Max, Paramount+, CNN, CBS, Warner Bros. and Paramount Pictures fall under one owner. Bobby Kotick, Laurene Powell Jobs and Ynon Kreiz join the board, with Tony Blair as advisor. The games divisions, including NetherRealm and Avalanche, are consolidated.
