The October issue of Kadokawa's Shonen Ace magazine announced that Shiwasu Hoshikawa's Bungo Stray Dogs STORM BRINGER manga will go on a long-term hiatus due to Hoshikawa's health. The magazine will reveal when the manga will continue in a later issue.
On August 6, the fantasy action RPG BRINGER began recruiting for its second beta test, with a new PV showing gameplay. NetEase announced BENEATH THE MIST on August 5, a PvPvE extraction game where players gain monster abilities by cooking and eating them. Tencent's upcoming smartphone game 奧星熱浪 is also recruiting beta testers, with a comedic, meme-driven tone.
KMNZ announced the performers for KMNPARTY vol.8, a club event at WOMB in Shibuya on September 13. The lineup includes KMNZ, Rim, Getty, P*Light, DJ Noriken, NUROJUNK, DJ TAKUYA the bringer, Capchii, Synthion, Ren, Nemonoika, and LAKU. Tickets go on sale August 8 at noon.

The footage shows daily life in those cities, combat with multiple characters, and riding Long Boats across a sea. EP02 Beta Test recruitment has begun for mainland China residents.
YHKT ENTERTAINMENT, the animation studio behind the original anime 'Incarnation,' is developing an action RPG called 'BRINGER' set in a world where land is swallowed by white particles and people live on giant creatures called Long Boats. The game was shown at Bilibili World 2026. It is planned for PC, console, and smartphones with a global release. The first two chapters contain about 90 minutes of cutscenes, and the project was reworked from an earlier version.
