The spring 2026 anime Witch Hat Atelier concluded its 13-episode first season on July 7, 2026, and immediately announced a second season. Creator Kamome Shirahama provided a comment and end card. At AnimeExpo 2026 in Los Angeles, a super teaser PV for season 2 was released, showing Coco in a brimmed hat and hinting at deeper conflict with the forbidden magic group. The manga has over 9 million copies in print. Season 2 broadcast date is not yet set.
