Cat and Dragon Anime Adds Yu Serizawa, Makoto Koichi, Kazuya Ichijo to Cast
The TV anime adaptation of the fantasy novel and manga series "Cat and Dragon" has revealed three new cast members and its first promotional video. Yu Serizawa voices Ha-neko, a kind cat who helps a prince struggling with magic. Makoto Koichi plays the prince, and Kazuya Ichijo voices the king. The first PV shows the cat dragon, voiced by Takehito Koyasu, visiting a human town and requesting an audience with the king. The anime is set to begin broadcasting on July 4, 2026, on TOKYO MX, with additional broadcasts on BS Nippon Television, Yomiuri TV, AT-X, and Nagasaki Cultural Broadcasting. Streaming will be available on d Anime Store and other platforms. The series, which originated on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, has surpassed 1.4 million copies in cumulative circulation across its novel and comic releases. OLM handles animation production, with Ozing directing and Mitsutaka Hirota handling series composition.
