CINDER CITY Steam Store Page Opens With Gameplay Trailer
NC's development studio BigFire Games opened the Steam store page for its upcoming open-world cinematic third-person shooter CINDER CITY on July 1, 2026. The game is set in a dystopian near-future Seoul destroyed by mutants and criminal organizations. Players take the role of super soldiers called Cinder Knights, each with different abilities, and fight to reclaim the ruined city. The story follows protagonist Seven on a mission to rescue his daughter Joy. A new Developer Preview video was released alongside the store page, featuring lead concept artist Samuel King and project manager GH Shin showing actual gameplay footage. The video highlights the ruined Seoul setting, story-driven missions, and open-world-based PvE multiplayer. The game runs on Unreal Engine 5 and centers on large-scale cooperative PvE content where players team up to face enemies including the Hive groups, mutants, and enemy forces. Players can use tactical gear such as drones and stealth equipment, as well as vehicles like motorcycles, power loaders, and aircraft. Content includes story missions, side missions, dynamic events, field bosses, instance dungeons, and massive field raids. The official website was also revamped, and an official Discord server launched. Wishlist registration is now open on Steam, with a release scheduled soon.
