Polyzonia Announced: Amazon Ecosystem Sim Coming to Steam

IndieArk announced Polyzonia on August 6, a new ecosystem simulation game developed by solo developer Cloudberry Pine, set in the Amazon rainforest and planned for release on Steam. The game's release date is listed as "coming soon," with Japanese interface and subtitles planned. In Polyzonia, players start with barren land and grow plants to attract animals, building an ecosystem through click-based actions such as pollination, nest building, and herd formation. Each click directly guides the ecosystem, and as the rainforest develops, these actions can be automated, allowing the ecosystem to maintain and develop itself. The game features diverse Amazon biomes, including terra firme, blackwater, mangrove forests, and cloud forests, each with distinct wildlife; for example, electric eels swim in blackwater and small animals hide in mangroves. Polyzonia is scheduled to be available soon on Steam, and the announcement was made via the Steam store page and covered by Denfaminicogamer.
