Final Aim, the design and IP management company, raised additional funding in a Pre-Series A round from angel investor Craig Tegel, previously president and representative director for Adobe in Japan, APAC, and Northern Europe. Tegel invested in the company's 2023 seed round and is a business advisor. The company will use the funding to accelerate expansion into design and creative fields globally.
MenaRD won the Street Fighter 6 division at EVO 2026, held June 26-28 in Las Vegas, defeating Japan's Shigematsu in the grand finals. Shigematsu, who came from the losers bracket, reset the bracket with a 3-1 win but lost the deciding set 3-0 in a Blanka mirror match. The victory gives MenaRD a second consecutive EVO main event title and his fourth championship across all EVO-branded tournaments, including EVO Japan. Because MenaRD had already qualified for Capcom Cup 13 by winning Blink Respawn 2026, the runner-up Shigematsu earned the Capcom Cup 13 spot. The top 8 also included Kilzyou (3rd, France), Craime (4th, Chile), Dogura (5th, Japan), Tantanmen (5th, Japan, in his first EVO top 8), CrossoverRD (7th, Dominican Republic), and Zhen (7th, China).
