GOKKO Co., Ltd. will release the vertical short drama 'Tagusari Brothers' First Contact 'D-day ~The Day Sin Disappears~' on the app POPCORN on Friday, August 7, 2026. The 50-episode crime suspense stars Jitsuko Uchida as a forensic examiner forced to kill her aunt after her daughter is taken hostage. Hitomi Kuroki, Daichi Imae, Satoshi Jimbo, and Atsuko Hashiyasume also appear. The story is a prequel set two years before the TBS Friday Drama 'Tagusari Brothers'.
