The staff for Ace of Diamond Act II Second Season revealed a new key visual, a new cast member, and the October 11 debut date for its second cour on Tuesday. Daisuke Sakuma joins the cast as Shinichiro Saotome from Inashiro High School, the opposing team in the upcoming Seido vs Inashiro match teased by the visual. The second cour will premiere on October 11 at 5:30 p.m. JST on TV Tokyo and its affiliates, with an AT-X broadcast at 9:00 p.m. JST, followed by streaming on Netflix in Japan. The season premiered on April 5 on TV Tokyo and AT-X, with thirteen episodes aired so far according to Crunchyroll's streaming count. Hideaki Oba directs the season at OLM, taking over from Mitsuyuki Masuhara, with Kenji Konuta returning to oversee series scripts and Yasukazu Shoji handling character design. GLAY performs the opening theme and OxT performs the ending theme for the second cour, with both artists having previously contributed songs to the franchise.
