Death Momotaro Steam Page Opens Ahead of Late September Release
Solo developer Hirasaka opened the Steam store page for Death Momotaro, a horror action comedy based on the Japanese folktale. The player takes the role of Death Momotaro and fights Death Grandpa, the Death Animals, and the Death Oni across four chapters. Chapter one is an escape from a giant peach, chapter two feeds Death Kibidango to the animals, and chapter three shoots the oni on Onigashima. Release is set for late September 2026 at around 400 yen, with Japanese, English, and Simplified Chinese support.
