Netflix will stream "Lilith & Cinderella's Fairy Tale Kingdom" worldwide starting Friday, November 20, and a teaser trailer and teaser art are out. The animated film comes from the studio behind "KPop Demon Hunters" and retells Cinderella through her stepsister Lilith, who steals a magic wand and teams up with Cinderella. Alice Tso and John Ripa direct, with Ali Wong as Lilith, Amanda Seyfried as Cinderella, and Bette Midler among the cast.

The Christian metal band Demon Hunter filed a lawsuit on August 18 in the California Central District Court against Netflix and AEG Presents over the trademark of the 2025 animated film KPop Demon Hunters. Demon Hunter, through its corporation Hyde Lane, accused the two companies of willfully disregarding the rights of others. Netflix called the allegations without merit.

The Golden Trailer Awards, honoring the year's best film marketing, announced winners on May 28. Konami's Silent Hill f won Best Video Game Trailer. Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters won Best Animation/Family Poster. The live-action film of the horror game Exit 8 won Best Foreign Horror. Several anime and game-related nominees, including Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, lost in their categories.
