The game is out. Game Addict released Derby Stallion 2 for Nintendo Switch 2 on September 24 at 9,980 yen including tax. Parity Bit holds the production copyright, and Land Ho developed it, continuing from the Switch entry. The breeding simulation runs a cycle of mating, breeding, training, racing, and retirement, with casual and legacy modes, named broodmares and stallions, 3D cel-shaded races, and courses drawn from the 2026 JRA racing program.
Two claims from the announcement carry into the release: the named horses now reach the 2023 debut generation, and the circuits cover local Japanese and American racing alongside the central JRA program that previous titles focused on. Both appeared in the June announcement as firsts for the series, and the September release confirms the named broodmares and stallions and the 2026 JRA course list.
