Hyperstrange and developer Visuwyg revealed DERELIKT, a story-driven retro FPS inspired by System Shock 2, Alien Resurrection, and Doom 3. Set on a derelict station in Saturn orbit, the game features 12 levels, over 12 NPCs, limited ammunition, and PS1-era visuals. It launches on PC via Steam and GOG.com in 2026.
Visuwyg released a new trailer for the retro FPS Derelikt, confirming Hyperstrange as publisher. The game emulates first-PS-era graphics with affine texture warping, vertex colors, and CGI cutscenes. Inspired by Alien: Resurrection, DOOM 3, and System Shock 2 with Lovecraftian horror, it is set on an asteroid research facility and planned for a 2026 Steam release.
