At Tokyo Game Show 2026 on September 20, the Dot Abyss stage announced that after maintenance ends on September 21, SSR "[Awakened] Belisa" joins the pickup gacha and Main Story Chapter 8 arrives. Chapter 8 follows disappearances targeting magic users, and SR "Aina" joins as a companion. The side story "Successor of the White Flame" covers Belisa's growth, and Interception Battle's calamity cap rises to Lv36 with the new "Comet Calamity."

Netmarble's 3D action RPG Monster Guild: STAR DIVE is getting a DMM GAMES version in November, announced at a Tokyo Game Show 2026 stage event where development PD Lee Dong-jo appeared with new footage. The game released on April 15, and a September 2 developer roundtable outlined updates through Ver.1.6, including Ver.1.4 on September 30.

DMM GAMES announced on September 18 that ANGELICA ASTER will end service on October 19, about one year and eleven months after its December 2024 launch on DMM GAMES for PC, PC browser, and Android, with an iOS version following later. The operation team said it had worked on its operation structure, schedule adjustments, and development of functions and content, but judged it could not keep providing sufficient service. Jewel purchases stopped on September 18 and unused jewels will be refunded from October 19.

DMM GAMES, operated by EXNOA, released the iOS version of its store app "GAMES STORE" on August 31, 2026. The app allows players to install and play DMM GAMES titles directly on an iPhone without going through the App Store. The launch lineup includes 10 all-ages titles, such as "Teklonos," "Muv-Luv Girls Garden," and "Mist Train Girls: From the Window of the Misty World." The store is available only in Japan, requiring a Japan-based Apple account, and it is not supported on iPad. The release follows the Smartphone Software Competition Promotion Act, enacted in December 2025, which enabled alternative app marketplaces on iOS. A notable feature is the distribution of R18 versions of games as native apps, with "Twinkle Star Knights X" cited as an R18 version. To install, users must set the iPhone's age rating to "Unrated" and use Safari. A campaign running from September 2 to September 22 offers 50 DMM points to all participants and a lottery for up to 3,000 DMM points.

EXNOA announced DMM GAMES will exhibit at Tokyo Game Show 2026 with its largest booth ever, located in Hall 3 of Makuhari Messe. The booth will feature hands-on previews of Touken Ranbu Puzzgiri and Muv-Luv Girls Garden, plus stage events with special guests, including a fripSide live and a Touken Ranbu joint stage.

KADOKAWA announced on August 20, 2026 that the PC version of the new KonoSuba game, KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! - Prosperity in This Beloved City! (abbreviated Machisuba), will be distributed on DMM GAMES. The game is a smartphone and PC title based on the KonoSuba anime and original light novel, retaining the series' worldview and characters while offering an original story. Natsume Akatsuki, the original author, supervises production, and Kurone Mishima, the original illustrator, provides production cooperation. The genre is described as an "another world trouble life RPG." The smartphone version is available for pre-registration on the App Store and Google Play, with a 2026 release planned. To mark the platform decision, a special stage program, "Machisuba Special Stage in TGS2026," will be held at the DMM GAMES booth at Tokyo Game Show 2026 on September 20, starting at 15:00. The stage will feature Jun Fukushima, the voice actor for protagonist Kazuma, and KADOKAWA game producer Taiki Fujii, who will share the latest information and highlights. The event will be viewable on-site and via a YouTube live stream.

The contest uses original game translation tasks from English to Japanese, supports the latest external AI models, and offers Amazon gift cards up to 100,000 yen.

DMM GAMES has announced that the PC RPG Tenkei Paradox will end service on August 26, 2026, approximately four years after its launch. The game was one of the titles commemorating DMM GAMES' 10th anniversary. Paid diamond purchases are suspended from July 13, and refunds will be available from August 26 to November 26. A CG collection with unreleased data is in preparation.

DMM Games' new title Dot Abyss, releasing June 11, is the debut work under the Kumasan Black label. The game features all female characters with exaggerated soft, squishy (mochimochi) designs, with clothing accessories that emphasize thigh plumpness. The developer describes it as a wholesome game, but the obsessive focus on mochimochi across every character makes that label feel questionable.
