The documentary about Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, co-directed by comedian Nathan Fielder, will hit theaters in October 2026. Filming took place over 34 days after Holmes was sentenced to 11 years and 3 months in prison and before she was incarcerated. The 174-minute film features a teaser with just two people: Holmes denying the fraud allegations and Fielder pressing her on sincerity. Variety's Owen Gleiberman says the film does not defend Holmes.

A first-impression review of the anime A Livid Lady's Guide to Getting Even: How I Crushed My Homeland with My Mighty Grimoires finds the revenge plot promising but undermined by shallow characterizations. The prince's betrayal of Elizabeth is rushed, and the king and chancellor's decision to abandon her feels flimsy given her power and importance. The review argues the episode's emotional shift lacks conviction because the characters act as plot demands rather than consistent personalities.
