Evangelion MA-1 Jacket By AVIREX Gets Additional Run After Selling Out
A second production run of the "EVANGELION MA-1 REMODEL by AVIREX" flight jacket is confirmed, with orders opening at 11:00 on Friday, October 16, 2026. The jacket is a collaboration between the Evangelion project RADIO EVA and the military apparel brand AVIREX. It sold out immediately after an advance sale through RADIO EVA and a same-day sale at AVIREX directly managed stores and the official online store. The model comes in three colorways: black themed after Evangelion Unit-01, red after Unit-02, and navy after Mark.06. It is based on the MA-1 REMODEL MARK II, a jacket AVIREX produced in 2009. Each jacket costs 77,000 yen including tax. Orders will be taken on RADIO EVA ONLINE and the AVIREX official online store, with shipping scheduled for early February 2027.
