Penguin Colony Lets You Watch Madness From a Penguin's View in October
Fellow Traveller announced on August 25, 2026, that ORIGAME DIGITAL's horror simulation Penguin Colony will launch on October 8, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2. The game reinterprets H.P. Lovecraft's At the Mountains of Madness from the perspective of a penguin. Players explore the frozen Antarctic as a penguin, waddling, sliding, and swimming through the environment. In this setting, two factions clash: one harnesses the power of an ancient being, while the other tries to put that being back to sleep. By following human expedition members as a penguin, players witness people crushed by mental pressure and falling apart, descending into madness. The game was revealed during the Pixel Arcadia broadcast on August 25. A demo version is available on the Steam store page, allowing interested players to try it before release. The game is described as a Lovecraftian narrative horror title set in Antarctica, with the player seeing humanity's collapse through the eyes of an adorable penguin.
