Roguelite Shooter 'Armatus' Announced for PC, PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch 2
Fictions announced its new action game 'Armatus' during the PC Gaming Show 2026 on June 8. The game is a third-person roguelite shooter set in a demon-ravaged Paris. Players take on the role of the last superhuman warrior of an ancient order, who must find the lost gate to heaven, called the 'Gate of the Sunless Sky' or 'Gate of No Sun' depending on the source. The trailer shown at the event revealed gameplay footage and confirmed a winter 2026 release window. 'Armatus' will launch on PC via Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game features roguelite mechanics: players gain strength from enemies, and even after defeat, they can resurrect repeatedly, using accumulated knowledge to continue fighting demons.
