NEOGEO AES+ Adds Five Titles, Including a New Zero Wing Port
SNK and PLAION REPLAI announced five additional titles for the NEOGEO AES+, bringing its lineup to 15. Announced on September 22 at Tokyo Game Show 2026, the set includes Zero Wing, Fighter's History Dynamite, Magical Drop 2 & 3, Miracle Adventure, and Dunk Dream. Zero Wing was a Toaplan arcade shooter that was ported to the Mega Drive and PC Engine but never released for the NEOGEO; this version is officially licensed from TATSUJIN and newly ported. Fighter's History Dynamite is a Data East fighting game, Magical Drop 2 & 3 combines two puzzle games, Miracle Adventure is a side-scrolling action game, and Dunk Dream is a basketball game. At the PLAION REPLAI booth, hardware and software director Ben Jones and marketing director Simon Turner presented the console. Jones said the price is set so ordinary people can buy and play it. Development began about two years ago, following talks with SNK that started two and a half to three years earlier.
