I Don't Like Mondays. on Black Torch Ending, New Album Friday
The band I Don't Like Mondays. discussed the ending theme "Groooovy" for the TV anime Black Torch in an interview, describing it as a city pop track built around the characters' daily life rather than the main battle. Vocalist YU said the ending, unlike their One Piece opening "PAINT," was written so listeners could sit with the afterglow once an episode ends. The band also released the 18-track album Friday on September 25.
