Former Hearthstone Designer Announces Roguelike Auto-Battler Guildrun
Indie studio Leyline, staffed by veterans from Activision Blizzard, Riot Games, Konami, and Electronic Arts, announced Guildrun on July 16. The roguelike auto-battler is led by former lead designers of Hearthstone and The Bazaar. A demo is available on Steam. Players assemble heroes, explore rifts, and build synergies with items and relics. Runs last about 20 minutes with save/resume. Eight difficulty levels and an Endless Mode with world rankings are included. Full release is planned for late 2026.
