Toshiko Machida's Hanako-gari Manga Ends in Three Volumes
Toshiko Machida's Hanako-gari manga ended with its final chapter on Kodansha's Pocket Magazine platform on August 27. The series launched in September 2025 and ran for three compiled volumes. Kodansha shipped the second volume on March 9 and will release the third and final volume on September 9. The story follows a Tokyo government organization that claims to protect spirits called Hanako but actually hunts and disposes of them.
