Snoop Dogg Enters Hitman World of Assassination as Elusive Target
IO Interactive announced at gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 that Snoop Dogg will appear as an Elusive Target in Hitman World of Assassination. The collaboration content, titled The Herbalist ft. Snoop Dogg, launches as a free-to-play limited-time mission on August 27. The trailer shows Agent 47 blending in with Snoop Dogg's filming staff at a southern island location, with the target described as a legendary rapper from the hip-hop world. The mission runs from August 27 to September 26, according to Game Spark. The content is scheduled for release on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store, as well as PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch 2, and iOS. Denfaminicogamer noted that Elusive Targets are a limited-time event format in the series, and the official Hitman account teased the mission by saying a new snack is about to take the world by storm and that players must serve Dr. Cyrus Cane a taste of his own medicine.
