Jeff Dean Leaves Google to Found AI Research Firm Discovery Loop
Jeff Dean, chief scientist at Google DeepMind who worked on Gemini, has left Google to launch Discovery Loop, an AI-focused public benefit corporation. Three colleagues join him: Sanjay Ghemawat, Oriol Vinyals, and Quoc Le. Google CEO Sundar Pichai said Google will support the venture as an initial investor and cloud partner.
