The official Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG account released a short video on July 10 in which Joey Wheeler narrates the next episode preview 'Joey Dies' from episode 128 of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters. Originally narrated by Téa Gardner, the preview is known for its spoiler-heavy content, having shown Téa pleading 'Please, don't die, Joey!' before the title card. In the new video, Wheeler himself delivers the preview, announcing his own crisis with a notably upbeat tone. The video promotes the BEYOND THE BRAVE theme, scheduled for release on July 18, which features cards reminiscent of cards Wheeler has used. Fan reactions in the comments section include 'What is this?', 'What perspective is this?', 'Self-contained', and 'You don't have to say it with such enthusiasm.' The clip is part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Times short video series and marks an official acknowledgment of the infamous preview as a joke.
