Kakusei Hunter Omega Horn is the second series in the PROJECT R.E.D. tokusatsu line, with the main cast of Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity announced to appear in it. Tie-in merchandise tied to Gavan Infinity is already scheduled through October 2026.
Kakusei Hunter Omega Horn is the follow-up series to Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity, and it carries Gavan's cast with it. At the finale event for Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity, held July 19 at Tokyo Dome City Theater G Rosso, main cast members Kohei Nagata, Ryuga Akabane, Kanna Sumi, and Kentaro Yasui announced that the Super Gavan team will appear in Kakusei Hunter Omega Horn. The announcement makes the two shows one continuous project rather than separate productions.
The connective tissue runs through toys as much as through cast. Bandai opened product pages for two PROJECT R.E.D. items tied to Ultra Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity. The Gavan Infinity Laser ver. soft vinyl figure costs 1,100 yen and ships September 19, 2026. The DX Horned Beast Hekikaku is a roughly 200mm figure with a scissor open-close gimmick and an Egorgia set, costs 4,400 yen, releases October 3, 2026, and combines with the DX Horned Beast Enkaku and Omega Horn. Both ends of the range are covered at once, a child-sized soft vinyl and a combination-focused DX figure.
The same week's toy announcements elsewhere in the Bandai Spirits catalog point to how the company is structuring its lines. ABSOLUTE ACT is a new Gundam figure brand built around the ABSOLUTE ACTION SYSTEM for articulation, separate from Gunpla and Metal Robot Spirits. Its first entry, the Strike Freedom Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY, was displayed at TOKYO Toy Show 2026 from August 27 to August 30, 2026, with reservations opening August 27 at general retail stores and release set for March 2027 at 16,500 yen including tax.
