The Tenth Mosaic Game Festival Announces Full Program With Rez, Indie Showcase

The Institut francais du Japon - Tokyo will host The Tenth Mosaic, a two-day game culture festival, on September 22 and 23, 2026. The event goes beyond previously announced talk sessions by Yoko Taro, Ueda Fumito, and Mizuguchi Tetsuya, adding game music performances, hardware exhibitions, a curated indie game showcase, and live drawing. A Rez 25th anniversary session will feature Mizuguchi, director Jun Kobayashi, music producer Ken Ishii, and music coordinator Masakazu Hiroishi. Former Sony Interactive Entertainment executive Shuhei Yoshida curates the Indie Legacy Showcase, presenting more than 15 Japanese indie titles including Cave Story, La-Mulana, and Exit 8. The Dream Machines exhibition will display rare hardware such as the Panasonic M2 and the Sega-IBM co-developed Teradrive. Music acts include Saori Kobayashi performing Panzer Dragoon pieces, Yuzo Koshiro, and an Enemy Zero acoustic live. General admission costs 2,000 yen per day, granting access to exhibitions, music, the indie showcase, and live drawing. Creator talks require separate 3,000 yen tickets.
