KILLER INN Patch 0.9.4 Adds Assassin and Runner, 75% Off Sale Runs Through July 10
Square Enix released patch ver.0.9.4 for the asymmetric PvP action shooter KILLER INN on June 26, adding two new characters: Assassin and Runner. The Assassin specializes in Corrosive Poison, dealing continuous damage over time, while the Runner has high movement speed and stamina for pursuit or escape. The update also introduces a beginner buff system that applies until a player has completed 30 casual matches or taken 10 kills. Buffs include +50% debuff resistance, +25% physical damage reduction, +50% gold and experience gain, and a guaranteed stun gun in the starting room. Matchmaking specifications have been changed and anti-cheat systems added. KILLER INN is in Early Access on Steam. During the Steam Summer Sale, the game is 75% off at 300 yen (tax included) until July 10 at 2:00. A free demo is also available, letting players use three characters (Gamer, Picture Book Author, Former Detective) with no time limit. Demo and full game players can play together, and progress such as battle passes carries over to the full version.
