Competitive Shogi Game KIOU Launches on iOS and Android
Nekonome Co., Ltd. released the competitive shogi game KIOU on June 12, 2026, for iOS and Android devices. The game features authentic shogi rules, AI support from professional player Hiroki Taniai, multiple battle modes, and character interactions with voice acting. A PC version on Steam is planned for a future release.
