TV Asahi's classical music program "Music Concert Without a Title" will broadcast a special "Dragon Quest Concert conducted by Koichi Sugiyama" on September 26 at 10:00. The program will feature the late composer appearing via VTR, delivering famous tunes he conducted himself along with exclusive talk, according to the official website. Koichi Sugiyama composed music for the Dragon Quest series from its first installment, creating well-known pieces including "Overture (Roto's Theme)" and "To Fly in the Sky." He passed away on September 30, 2021. The scheduled songs for the broadcast have not been announced as of the time of writing. The Dragon Quest series marks its 40th anniversary this year, and a commemorative exhibition is running in Harajuku, Tokyo until September 6.
