Azur Lane 9th Anniversary Event AZUR LANE MUSI9 FES. Set for September in Shinjuku

Yostar announced on June 19 that the real event "AZUR LANE MUSI9 FES." commemorating the 9th anniversary of the smartphone game Azur Lane will be held on September 5 and 6, 2026, at Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Triangle Square and Shinjuku Sumitomo Hall. The event is themed around sound and is divided into two sections. The Festival Arena at Triangle Square will feature a stage for live performances and talks, plus a free-entry area with original food, drinks, and merchandise. The Sound Museum at Shinjuku Sumitomo Hall is an interactive space where attendees can experience attractions using music and voices. On both days, a special live concert called "AZUR LANE SPECIAL MUSI9 LIVE" will take place. The first lineup of performers includes Masayoshi Oishi, Yui Ishikawa, Konomi Suzuki, Yui Sakakibara, May'n, Beverly, and others, split across two days. Premium tickets, priced at 12,000 yen and including early entry and reserved seating for the live and an official broadcast, are available via lottery through the YoStation app until July 5. Regular tickets will go on sale in early August for 3,500 yen.

Planet Zoo 2 Launches October 13 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S

Frontier Developments announced on May 28, 2026, that Planet Zoo 2, the sequel to the 2019 zoo management simulation game, will launch on October 13, 2026, for PC (Steam and Epic Games), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders are now open. The game introduces fully aquatic species and flying animals for the first time in the series, along with customizable aquariums and aviaries. A new conservation feature lets players restore wildlife sanctuaries and release animals into natural environments. The sequel also includes updated graphics, dynamic water physics, and animal AI that reflects mood. Four new architectural themes and five from the original game are available for zoo building. Game modes include Career, Franchise, and Sandbox, plus cross-platform blueprint sharing via the Frontier Workshop.
