NVIDIA announced on October 14 that the PC version of Hogwarts Legacy will add DLSS 5 support on November 5, 2026. Avalanche Software, the developer, used the DLSS 5 SDK to tune the integration itself, and the announcement states the studio preserved the game's artistic intent and style. DLSS 5 introduces 3D-Guided Neural Rendering, which uses AI to generate lighting and material detail in real time on top of already rendered frames. The update reaches GeForce RTX 50 series, GeForce NOW, and RTX Spark users. Hogwarts Legacy is the open-world action RPG set in the wizarding world of the 1800s, published by Warner Bros., released in 2023 with more than 40 million copies sold. The PC version already supports DLSS multi-frame generation and ray reconstruction, and the other DLSS features will move to their latest versions alongside the new one. NVIDIA also said DLSS 5 support arrives for Where Winds Meet in late November and for RTX Remix on October 23.

Premium Bandai opened pre-orders on September 30 for a Legacy Art statue of Noriyoshi Ohrai's poster art for Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah, the 1991 Heisei film. The piece stands about 82cm tall and costs 472,890 yen including tax. LEDs light the gravity beams and missile fire. Orders close October 28 at 23:00, with shipping scheduled for January 2028.

Sega announced on September 28 that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is on sale, with a launch trailer released alongside it. The Standard Edition costs 7,678 yen, and the download-only Deluxe Edition costs 11,286 yen. A free update adds the Absolute difficulty level, which sits above Caped Crusader and Dark Knight.

Warner Games has released the Mayhem Collection DLC for Deluxe Edition owners of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. It adds Joker and Harley Quinn as playable characters in a new Mayhem Mode story mission, where they fight A.R.G.U.S. agents, Amanda Waller's Task Force X, and villains including Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Deathstroke, Killer Croc, King Shark, and Polka-Dot Man. Kodansha Game Lab opened the Steam store page for Legacy Code on September 16 and started accepting wishlist registrations. The physics simulation game is developed by indie creator Room 127 and is scheduled for release on PC in 2027. Players combine junk parts, including doll heads, electric fans, televisions, 3D puzzles, dentures, chains, and cacti, into creatures called Mechanimals, then operate them directly. Defeating enemies yields the parts they carried, and adding those parts changes both appearance and performance. Each part has its own movement quirks, and no clear correct answer exists for assembly. The game runs on the Marionette Engine, an in-house physics system built by Room 127 that moves a Mechanimal regardless of how its parts are combined, though the result sometimes walks in ways its own creator did not intend. The cycle of build, fight, and collect expands the walkable world, from deserts to snowy mountains and ruins. Legacy Code supports Japanese, English, and Simplified Chinese, with pricing undecided.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America revealed a trailer during Sony's State of Play livestream on Thursday for the Digimon Story Time Stranger DLC expansion "A Hero's Eternal Legacy." Stormind Games announced on August 18 that Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy, the final chapter in the Remothered trilogy, will launch on October 27. The game is a third-person survival horror title influenced by the Clock Tower series, set in a Sicilian convent where the legend of the Red Nun originated. Players control Susan, whose daughter has gone missing after six girls disappeared in Sicily; she follows a clue from an audio tape to the Ashmann family mansion on Mount Etna. Crystal Dynamics and Amazon Games have delayed the all-new series entry Tomb Raider: Catalyst to 2028.
