Ado to Perform Theme Song for Live-Action Blue Lock Film
The live-action film adaptation of the manga "Blue Lock" has revealed that Ado will perform its theme song, a new track titled "Monstruo." The announcement came on June 5 alongside a new trailer and main poster. The film, directed by Yusuke Taki and produced by CREDEUS, is set for release on August 7. It follows 300 high school strikers gathered at the "Blue Lock" facility, competing to become the world's top striker for Japan's national team. Fumiya Takahashi stars as protagonist Yoichi Isagi, with a cast including Kaito Sakurai, Kyōhei Takahashi, K (from &TEAM), and Masataka Kubota as project leader Jinpachi Ego. "Monstruo" was composed and arranged by Giga and TeddyLoid, with lyrics by ryo (supercell). Ado described the song as matching the work's message of awakening an inner monster to push forward. Advance movie tickets featuring the film's visuals go on sale June 12.
