Lootbound Launches on Steam and Xbox Series X|S With Japanese Support

ArtDock and publisher Dreland Enterprises released the inventory management roguelike Lootbound on August 14. The game is available on Steam and Xbox Series X|S, with a regular price of 1,999 yen and a launch discount of 35 percent off, bringing it to 1,299 yen until August 29. The title supports Japanese. Lootbound is set in a dark fantasy world inspired by Dungeons & Dragons, combining turn-based combat with equipment management and tabletop RPG elements. Players start with a single character, choose routes on a map, and recruit allies along the way. Equipment has no fixed slots; players rotate and place items freely into a grid, and some items carry auras that strengthen adjacent weapons or armor. Shifting one item can change an entire build. During turn-based combat, only the main hero is directly controlled, while allies act autonomously. The final boss, the Guardian, changes its appearance and strength based on parts the player selects during the run. A free demo is also available on Steam.
