Mahjong Pros Publishing Licenses Golden Sakura and Maetel of the Glassy Sea Manga
Mahjong Pros Publishing, the imprint from the mahjong set company, announced two new manga licenses during Manga Mavericks' panel at Anime Expo. Golden Sakura, by Sayaka Okada and Kazuo Maekawa, follows a failed pro mahjong player who crossdresses to enter the women's league. Maetel of the Glassy Sea, by Katakei and Yoshiki Suda, follows a college student who finds mahjong after a failed film career. Both release in November 2026 in physical and digital formats.
