Mawaru Penguindrum Plans YouTube Stream, Movie Re-Screenings for 15th Anniversary
The original anime Mawaru Penguindrum, directed by Kunihiko Ikuhara, will mark its 15th anniversary in 2026 with a limited-time free stream of the TV series on YouTube in four parts starting July 17. Each batch's first day includes a premiere screening with live chat. A re-screening project for the 2022 two-part movie adaptation is also underway, with details to come. A new illustration by original character designer Lily Hoshino has been released.
