The official website for Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf revealed the second teaser visual and a 2027 release date for the anime's second season on August 31. The sequel was announced immediately after the first season ended in September 2024. Takeo Takahashi returns as chief director, with Nobuyoshi Nagayama and Takahiro Majima directing at Passione. Koji Haneda returns for character designs with Rina Sugimoto, and Kevin Penkin is again composing the music. The voice cast includes Jun Fukuyama as Kraft Lawrence, Ami Koshimizu as Holo, and Mai Nakahara as Norah Arendt. The first season aired from April to September 2024 across two consecutive cours, and Crunchyroll streamed it with an English dub. The series is a new adaptation of Isuna Hasekura's novel series, which began in 2006 and continues with its 25th volume shipping on October 9. Yen Press publishes the novels in English, and the series also has a spinoff, Wolf & Parchment.

The company adds 20-30 Discotek titles monthly, prioritizing hard-to-find releases.

Kadost is accepting reservations for two new Ani-Scent items from Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf: an acrylic stick incense holder featuring Holo and a line of incense sticks with an apple-cinnamon-patchouli scent. The holder costs 2,750 yen and the incense, which includes a simple holder, costs the same. Reservations close June 16, 2026, with release scheduled for late September 2026.
