D2 Megaten Opens Shin Megami Tensei II Enmusubi Festival With Aleph and Hiroko

Sega launched the fifth D2 Enmusubi Festival in D×2 Shin Megami Tensei Liberation on September 2, 2026, themed around Shin Megami Tensei II. New grade-90 five-star characters Aleph and Hiroko appear through the Shin Megami Tensei II Enmusubi Summon, which runs until September 16. The festival also includes the ranking event The Hopefuls and a commemorative login bonus. The step-up banner guarantees a five-star demon at step 6.

Shin Megami Tensei V Art Book Pre-Orders Open With New Doi Cover

KADOKAWA Game Linkage has opened pre-orders for the Shin Megami Tensei V / V Vengeance Official Art Book. The 288-page A4 volume collects character and demon illustrations by Masayuki Doi, setting art, image boards, and a directory of demons and characters. It releases November 11 for 4,400 yen, with an ebtenDX Pack limited edition at the Atlus D Shop.

Megami Tensei Creator Fulfills Promise With English Novel Translation

Aya Nishitani, creator of the Megami Tensei series, announced on Sunday that he is personally translating the Digital Devil Story novels into English, fulfilling a promise made to an American reader three years ago. He has posted the prologue and first three chapters on his Note site, with plans to release chapters three through five and the final chapter over the next week. Nishitani is also in discussions with an overseas publisher. The translations will remain available until the end of July 2026.

Atlus Marks Persona 3 20th Anniversary with Deepest Discounts Yet

Atlus is running a Persona 3 20th anniversary sale on the PS Store and Nintendo eShop, offering Persona 3 Reload at its highest discount ever: 60% off on PlayStation and 40% off on Switch. The sale also includes deep cuts on Persona 5 Royal, Metaphor: ReFantazio, and other Atlus titles. The PS Store sale runs until July 29, while the eShop sale extends to August 10 for some titles.

Tsukasa Masuko Rearranges Megami Tensei I & II Soundtracks for Streaming

Bandai Namco Entertainment began streaming two rearrange soundtrack albums for the original Megami Tensei games on June 15. Composer Tsukasa Masuko selected and rearranged the music, with one album featuring performances by a roster of musicians and the other presenting instrumental rough arrangements by Masuko himself.
