Re:AcT Operator Mikai Releases 3D Motion Capture Studio LUMISTA
Mikai Co., Ltd., the company behind VTuber agency Re:AcT, released its 3D motion capture studio LUMISTA on September 18, 2026. The studio is open to external VTubers, Vsingers, companies, and individuals, offering the motion capture environment and production know-how that mikai built while producing 3D content for its own talent. Clients can use LUMISTA for motion capture sessions, recording and streaming of 3D live performances, MV and video production, and short videos, depending on the purpose. The company says it will take consultations ranging from short capture sessions to large-scale projects such as live production, drawing on its experience running an agency. The name LUMISTA combines Luminous and Stage or Studio, a reference to optical motion capture, which reads movement through light captured by cameras, and to the light used in live performances.
