Mobile Fighter G Gundam remains commercially active through model kit re-releases and merchandise. Premium Bandai is shipping G Gundam kits through late 2026, and Bandai Spirits has folded the series into a Gundam G W X 30th anniversary lottery set for February 2027.
Mobile Fighter G Gundam appears in the current merchandise cycle mainly through re-releases rather than new animation. In June 2026, Bandai Spirits opened reservations for a second batch of the HG 1/144 Gundam Spiegel kit on Premium Bandai, including a rotating base for the Sturm und Drang special move and scroll parts designed by series director Yasuhiro Imagawa. The kit ships in October 2026 at 3,740 yen.
Other releases followed. A lottery sale ran August 3 to August 10, 2026, for seven Real Grade kits, among them G Gundam's God Gundam alongside Wing, Endless Waltz, and Build Fighters kits, with winners announced August 24 and shipments planned for September. On August 31, 2026, Premium Bandai opened reservations for re-releases of 11 High Grade kits. The G Gundam units in that slate are the Mandala Gundam, Gundam Maxter, and Gundam Rose. Shipments start November 2026.
Hobby Japan is reprinting the Hirotoshi Sano Gundam Art Collection: EDGE of GUNDAM on August 7, 2026, 25 years after the original release. Pre-orders are open at the Post Hobby Web Shop and Yodobashi Camera stores.
The furthest-out G Gundam merchandise is a lottery. Bandai Spirits will release Ichiban Kuji Gundam G W X 30th Anniversary from February 26, 2027, at 900 yen per draw. The lottery marks the 30th broadcast anniversary of After War Gundam X and groups it with Mobile Fighter G Gundam and Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. The top prizes are a Gundam Double X bust, a Tiffa Adill figure, and a Last One Prize Gundam Double X Twin Satellite Cannon ver. bust.
