MOTHER3 20th Anniversary G-SHOCK Watch Goes on Lottery Sale
The Hobonichi MOTHER Project and Casio G-SHOCK have announced a collaboration watch to mark the 20th anniversary of the Game Boy Advance RPG MOTHER3. The watch is based on the DW-5600 model, finished in a vivid yellow inspired by the sunflower field from the game's Chapter 6. The dial features the MOTHER3 logo, the backlight displays a dot-art sunflower field, and the resin band is printed with multiple Mr. Saturn figures. A gold-colored protector, a first for the MOTHER G-SHOCK line, is included. The case back is engraved with the word "Potential!" in Japanese. The watch is priced at 19,800 yen (tax included). Lottery applications will be accepted from July 17 at 11:00 a.m. to July 30 at 11:00 a.m. JST at the online MOTHER's Shop. Product samples are on display at TOBICHI Tokyo from July 14 through July 29. This is the third MOTHER collaboration G-SHOCK and the first in two years.
