My Hero Academia Final Season Wins Anime of the Year at 2026 Crunchyroll Awards
The 10th annual Crunchyroll Anime Awards took place in Tokyo on May 23, 2026, with a record 73 million votes cast globally. My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON won Anime of the Year, presented by The Weeknd. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle took Film of the Year. The Apothecary Diaries Season 2 led in total wins, taking five categories including Best Drama, Best Director, and Best Main Character. Gachiakuta won Best New Series, Best Character Design, and Best Background Art. Solo Leveling Season 2 won Best Animation and Best Action. The ceremony included performances by Yoko Takahashi for Neon Genesis Evangelion's 30th anniversary, Porno Graffitti for My Hero Academia's 10th anniversary, and Asian Kung-Fu Generation. Director Tatsuya Nagamine received the Global Impact Award. The most engaged voting countries were Brazil, Germany, India, Mexico, and the United States.
