Shogakukan opened pre-orders on September 9 for a three-item Monster Hunter collaboration with down manufacturer NANGA, produced by the outdoor magazine BE-PAL. The lineup includes a Palico Gaming Sleeping Bag priced at 85,800 yen, a Raging Rajang Down Jacket at 59,400 yen, and an Eco Hybrid Rathalos / Windward Plains T-shirt at 8,250 yen per color. The sleeping bag and jacket ship around January 2027.

Independent developer ANTENNA GAMES will end distribution of the free-to-play roguelite shooter Ogre Chambers DX on Steam on August 4. Players who add the game to their library before the deadline can keep playing it. The Finnish studio said the title, its first Steam release, has become outdated from its current perspective. The sequel Ogre Chambers 2222 remains available.

Medicos Entertainment released a sneak peek of the Mutsu Komaro 1/4 Gymnastics Uniform Ver. prototype from the TV anime The Student Council Has a Hole!. The figure is part of the Re▼Dress series with removable real fabric clothing. The full prototype will debut at Wonder Festival 2026 Summer on July 26. The reveal was timed to the character's birthday on July 14.

MUZINA GAMES, a solo Japanese developer, will release Crown & Coin: The Hundred Years on Steam Early Access on November 4. The medieval European life simulation, inspired by Koei Tecmo's Taiko Risshiden, features 1,015 real historical figures from the Hundred Years' War, including Joan of Arc. Players can befriend characters to take control of them, or create an original protagonist. Fifteen skill types each have a puzzle mini-game.

Studio Typing Tuna Games announced Touhou Crisis R, a fan-made light gun shooting game for PC (Steam). Developed by Canadian creator Brogrammist, the sequel follows Hakurei Reimu as she shoots down enemies with a handgun. It also includes a typing mode and Japanese subtitles. The predecessor Touhou Crisis holds a 96% positive rating on Steam.

Publisher indie.io and developer Neurona Games released Esports Manager 2026 on Steam on July 7. The game is an esports team management simulation set in a tactical FPS similar to Counter-Strike. Players act as a team manager, handling training, scouting, sponsorships, merchandise, and legal matters. The game includes over 325 real esports teams and more than 1,900 real players, with stats based on actual performances. In matches, players watch AI-controlled action from a top-down view and can give equipment instructions like full buy or eco. The game quickly attracted players, reaching a peak concurrent count of around 5,000. As of July 7, 80% of 240 Steam user reviews are positive, earning a 'Very Positive' rating. Some players have criticized the AI behavior during matches, with reports of illogical actions. The developer announced a functional improvement patch for the next day. The game is priced at 2,300 yen, with a 20% launch discount to 1,840 yen until July 21. The store page does not list Japanese language support.

Visual Arts announced on May 25 that the original soundtrack for Key's new game Anemoi will launch on July 29 for 3,960 yen. The 3-disc set contains 63 songs, including BGM and vocal tracks by ASCA, Yuiko Ohara, and fhána. Na-Ga drew the jacket illustration. Pre-orders opened the same day.
