Therapy Game Stage Gets Special Ending for Final Performance
The live-action adaptation of the BL manga "Therapy Game" is currently running its stage play at Nihon Seinenkan Hall in Tokyo through January 25. The play stars NAOYA (MAZZEL) as Mitsu Mito and Yuki Tomita (Ryugu-jo) as Seima Ikushima. Four performances on January 24 and 25 will be streamed live on Hulu, with the final show on January 25 featuring a special ending version. The drama series, which aired on Nippon TV in October 2025, is now streaming in full on Hulu and FOD. A DVD and Blu-ray box set is scheduled for release on April 29, 2026. In an interview, the two leads discussed their preparation for the roles. NAOYA said he focused on matching Mitsu's slender build and voice tone, while Tomita studied Seima's composed demeanor and speech patterns. The actors, who are friends off-screen, said they used their natural rapport to build the characters' relationship. Both also performed the series' theme songs with their respective groups: Tomita with Ryugu-jo's "SUGAR" and NAOYA with MAZZEL's "Only You."
