The development team NERDY PENGUIN opened the Steam store page for CHIBBY: PROJECT PET on September 15, 2026, with a planned release window of summer 2027 and Japanese display and subtitle support. The game is a raising-and-observation horror title in which the player works a part-time pet care job, feeding and examining an animal, then treating abnormalities by selecting medicine that matches the symptom. The stated goal is to collect 80 rainbow-colored poops within 13 days. A wrong medicine adds abnormalities that build up, and a pet whose transformation advances attacks the player, while the poop quota continues regardless.
