New Denpa Ningen no RPG FREE! Ends Switch Service December 7
Genius Sonority will end service for the Nintendo Switch free-to-play RPG New Denpa Ningen no RPG FREE! on December 7 at 11:00, the studio announced on October 5 via its official X account and website. The game launched in July 2024 as the latest entry in the Denpa Ningen no RPG series. Players recruit Denpa Ningen, beings born from radio waves that cannot be seen with the naked eye, and follow a story in which the Denpa Ningen Kota, described as having a strong sense of justice but kind-hearted and introverted, sets out to overcome his own weakness after meeting the player. The studio said it "reached the conclusion that it would be difficult to provide services that would satisfy customers going forward." Paid in-game items went off sale at the same time as the announcement, and events that span the end date will close on December 7. Refunds for unused paid in-game currency will be detailed later.
