STRICT-G Adds NEW ERA Gundam Caps And Char's Counterattack Bags

Bandai's Gundam apparel shop STRICT-G is adding two NEW ERA caps and four STRICT-G BASIC bags, with pre-orders opening at 13:00 on October 22, 2026 at the STRICT-G Online Store within Premium Bandai. The caps are a 9FIFTY snapback carrying the Black Tri-Stars mark and a 9FORTY model with the NEW ERA logo and Haro embroidered on the front. Both cost 6,600 yen including tax and ship in November 2026. The bags come from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack as two shoulder bags and two tote bags, each done in an Amuro Ray design and a Neo Zeon design. Shoulder bags are navy or black at 9,350 yen, totes are 7,700 yen. In-store sales start October 24, 2026 for the bags and October 31, 2026 for the caps. Pre-order windows close November 1, 2026.

Kinnikuman and NEW ERA Cap Goes on Sale at KIN29.COM on October 16

The Kinnikuman official online store KIN29.COM will release a limited-edition NEW ERA 9FIFTY cap on Friday, October 16, 2026. The design uses a black visor and six panels in khaki, light navy, and storm gray, with the KIN Mark embroidered on the front. The theme is royal succession, and side embroidery shows Kinnikuman and Meat-kun. The cap costs 8,800 yen including tax.

Umamusume Movie Review Finds Feral Heroines and No Fan Service

Anime Feminist reviews the 2024 film Umamusume: Pretty Derby - Beginning of a New Era, now in English release. The review says the story of rookie runner Jungle Pocket works as a standalone entry. It praises the hand-drawn animation for capturing raw physical power and notes the female protagonists are allowed to be intense, sweaty, and off-putting. The review finds no leering fan service and calls the emotional core solid despite the absurd premise.
