Odaiba Drone Show 2026 is a free outdoor drone event at Odaiba Seaside Park in Tokyo. Its second phase runs September 18 to 22, after the first phase ran September 4 to 6 and lost its September 6 date to heavy rain.
Odaiba Drone Show 2026 was announced as a free night event at Odaiba Marine Park in Tokyo, running September 4 to 6 and September 18 to 22, with one thousand drones drawing characters from six works at heights up to 125 meters. Two performances per day were set for 19:00 and 21:00 with different programs, plus a linked fountain show. The lineup was Sonic the Hedgehog, Puyo Puyo, the Persona series, the Tokyo Revengers TV anime, Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-, and the film Godzilla -0.0.
The first phase did not run as scheduled. Heavy rain took out the September 6 date, leaving the September 4 to 6 window incomplete. The second phase is unaffected on that point, and its September 18 to 22 dates stand as the remaining slate.
Coverage after the rain shifted the framing toward the licensing mix rather than the sky itself. The six titles read as anniversary properties (Sonic and Puyo Puyo at 35 years, Persona at 30) grouped with a franchise film, and the mix leans on games about as much as anime. The venue format now draws as heavily from game rights as from anime rights.
