Paradox Live is running several projects at once: a fourth-season story arc that began in September 2026 and added the team ILLGATOR, an anime film from Studio GRAPH77 with no release date or story disclosed, and a third stage run split into two parts. The stage productions will feature the four teams that have not appeared in anime before.
Paradox Live, the hip-hop multimedia project from Avex and GCREST that launched in November 2019, has moved through a set of announcements that now define its current shape. A film adaptation of "Paradox Live THE ANIMATION" was announced at the "Paradox Live Dope Show 2026" event, held May 30 and 31 at Ariake Arena in Tokyo. Studio GRAPH77 produces the film, which features 29 characters from nine teams. Five teams come from the 2023 television anime: BAE, The Cat's Whiskers, cozmez, Akkan Yatsura, and Buraikan. Four more appear in anime for the first time: VISTY, AMPRULE, 1Nm8, and Goku Luck. The film's story and release date have not been disclosed.
The same event set the franchise's next story movement. The "4th Season" arc began in September 2026, and the newest team announced for it is ILLGATOR, voiced by Yū Serizawa as Meno Azumi, Hiiro Ishibashi as Noah, and Hayato Dojima as Akito Yofune. A music video for their song "Daru." (Lazy) is streaming, and the team performs at Animate Girls Festival 2026 on November 7.
Stage work continues alongside the animation. The third stage production run, "Paradox Live on Stage -Road to Legend-", is split into "RAGE" from October 2 to 11, 2026 and "FATE" from February 19 to 28, 2027, both at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel Stellar Ball in Tokyo. Those productions will feature the four new teams for the first time. Earlier, the concert-style "Paradox Live on Stage -THE LIVE 2026-" ran on April 12 at Noda Gas Hall with 13 cast members from four units performing 20 songs, an event built around live performance rather than story.
